Runs at National Events, Divisional Events, and National Open Events, including those at altitude factored race tracks, are included in the 1.250-second-or-more-under analysis. This is done to better react to any out-of-line indexes or under-horsepowered combinations. Therefore, at all such events, a 3.25 percent horsepower adjustment or index reduction will be initiated Tuesday following the event. The decision to adjust horsepower or to reduce the index will be at the discretion of the NHRA Tech Department.

If the car was run as a B/SA car, it was 1.295 under the index.

If the car was run as a C/SA car, it was 1.445 under the index

Either way the "racecar" should have received a 3.25% increase in NHRA horsepower.

How can NHRA NOT adjust the horsepower??????????????????????????

NHRA is turning into a punch line from a bad joke.........

Money is tight and I voted with my feet regarding the joke that NHRA has made of my sport.

Big Guy, The excuse is going to be:
No official qualifying sheet..
That begs the question: What if the DP car set the record that fast?
