anyone know the legal weight of a '62 Chevy Impala 2 door sport coupe [not SS] with a 250 hp 327 and a powerglide?

the nhra guide shows this combo to be 14.08, [which puts it in M/S].
so 14.08 x 250 = 3520. i have to believe that car is a lot heavier than 3500 lbs.
