No offense here Michael. As someone who is a lifelong resident of NC and has grown up at several of the local tracks I too cringe when I see the southern drag racer portrayed in a beer drinking and helmet throwing fashion like I saw in the trailer.
I think a more accurate dipiction of a southern drag racer would be a racer exemplifying good sportsmanship and offering a fellow competitor a helping hand, the shirt off his back, or a home cooked meal.
Maybe they should have just followed Larry Stott around for a few days?
