Maybe NHRA could do something FOR sportsman racers instead of TO them....
How about overseeing the contingency program like it used to be. If a company hung you out on a payment the nice lady in Ca. would step in and get you paid....Her name was Shirley Bunce. She got things taken care of right quick.....The last time I was owed a payment the NHRA person in charge I spoke to was about as helpfull as.... nothing......I am told pretty regularly by Div 1's resident standup comedian
that payments from some companies are coming on a slowboat from China....

How about NHRA listens to it's racer reps and makes rules that agree with their input. The reps have unanimously voted to allow something and NHRA Tech decides something different is needed. A brake issue that is well known by dragster racers......Give us a reason with specific examples of how or why it is necessary to defeat something that car builders put in cars strictly for the racers safety....
