We would have loved to come back to MIR this year because Royce's facility is top notch. We were going to keep it very local this year and hit the tracks that we know draw the cars (Maple, Cecil and Atco). We figured with Gas Skyrocketing, NHRA doing their little increase and other things...having 2 dates with 4+ hour drives for most guys would kill the car counts and membership. You look at last year's counts and Numidia (18 cars) and MIR (19 cars) were the lowest turnout. Bob from Numidia met up with us at the Keystone Nationals this year and after we told him the bad news he threw payout deal at us and we couldn't resist. Trust me we have our eyes on returning to MIR in 2012 and Royce knows about it.
