SST and Hot Rod Racers:
Bill, Mary Ann and Joe have graciously allowed me to horn in on their July 2nd Super Street race at Pacemaker's and host another "www.racingforcancer.com" SST race within the race. What this means is that Joe and his family will do their payout and points for this race and the RFC part will be added payout money and the most important goal of raising money for cancer research.
We missed last year, but the two previous races won by Linn Bebout and Roy Keaser were awesome and we have raised some serious money and donated it to the James Cancer Hospital. I don't know the exact figure right off hand, but do know that we are well over $10,000 for the past five years or so that we have been doing these events.
Details are few right now, but know that we will be racing on Saturday, July 2nd and Sunday, July 3rd. And if I can get a sponsor, there may be a SST Gambler's Race on Friday night. So three opportunities to shoot for the 7.00 index and have a great time in the process!!
