Wade, you do realize that it was only January 29th, right? Most people aren't even thinking of racing yet. Sure it's nice to get out of the cold weather in late January for a trip down to Sunny Florida, but in order to do that it also means that you need to do a lot of work on your stuff between November 1st and mid-January, not to mention the holidays are mixed in there are well.

IMHO, IHRA screwed up by having this race so darn early. I realize they'll be racing in Bradenton in 2 weeks, but I think their turnout would have been MUCH better had they scheduled this in late-February, or early March.

Just my $0.02.
