Actually I had a pacer---mine was not a bad car for a beater --got pretty decent mileage too with that 6 cylinder---but it really was an ugly car---it had been an AMC test vehicle from the test track near here and it looked OK but it mechanically was beat to hell had like 150,000 miles on it they ran it nite and day at the test track--buddy of mine was an engineer there and he got me the deal on it---NO WARRANTY but I only paid like $500 for a car that was 1-1 1/2 yrs old
