It is a matter of how one defines "True Stocker." I understand that the only opinion that carries weight is the NHRA. It is my opinion that a "True Stocker" would meet the emission standards and be licensed for the street at the time the combo was released. The spirit of Stock Eliminator.
Anything less than that would be a Super Stocker (ala '68 Hemi Cuda/Darts).

Don the big problem here is everyone has their own idea as to what "stock" constitutes.
My idea was you use stock factory parts. I did that with my FWD stockers and nobody seemed to appreciate it.
