You can build your own sheet metal intake in SS. Actually, I don't think there are limitations on the material. There are plastic or composite intakes out there. As Mark stated, same basic configuration (TQ facing forward as stock and sitting somewhat in the middle) and as long as you can shut the hood, your good to go.
