There was very little wind, not even measureable most of the time, but you never know when it decides to do something for a split second. Also wondering about some other possibilities, something my dad brought up many years ago. Is it possible for a slow car to ride the 'bow wave' of a faster car chasing them? Doubt a car punches that big of a hole in the air. Split times were showing a slowing trend up to 1000', then the car picked up in the back half. The second day was mostly 60'. Planted the slick in the beams, so I'm late and fast. Happens every once in a while. Quite surprised me when I got my time slip, as I had trouble doing a burnout. (MIR seemingly has a BYOW policy)
