Bunkster, Ed is one one of the nicest man you would want to meet, I don't think that name calling does you justice, probably does the opposite. Mr Dedman you've done a great job debating your point but we've milked this as long as we could, the cow is out of milk. I think for argument sake, I should have ask another questions such as " all you faster car drivers, do you feel distracted when your opponent leaves before you do,how many times have you red light because of this problem" I can remember a long time ago having a Toyota Corolla leave on me with his 21 second dial in and yours truly with a 69Chevelle 427cu 10:90 dial and can say that it I was quite distracted by his leave(I had one of my best lights 5:10). This was a King of the Hill race many years ago.lol Mr Dedman send a letter to NHRA and then see if you get a responce, let us know when you hear from them. I know that I've sent approximately five letters to NHRAand nevr even heard from them ever. I know that they must have it well filled in their file 9. I'd love to hear what Mr Dirt would have to say about this subject(Aka Bret Kepner) he's just one of the expert on the subject, Mark Yaccavone would be another with some incredible insights on being first to leave(he has a Wally to prove it). Billy Nees also could set some light on the subject. Claude
