Any GM trans worth a crap was made in Chevy and BOP configuration ,or both.
There was even a BOP Powerglide case .
The Chevy pattern 904 mail truck trans isn't legal in S/SS, but still it bolts right up.
The 700R4 o/d is Chevy only, but nobody uses that.
