My dad sent the car that was in the fire back to Jeff Taylor's shop to have the motor, transmission, and rear end removed, gone through, and installed in the '69 Camaro convertible he purchased "rolling" from Dick Henry for $5000 (the car was his wife's stocker) . We still have that car today. It sits in my dad's garage under a car cover and he won't even let us touch it! LOL. Your dad has a great memory!
