Great news from Newsday. Thanks for the link.
We were at RiverHead Raceway last Sunday drag racing. Over 130 cars showed up to race, along with some politicians and local media. It was only 100 feet, but the've signed up over 220 cars to race by this their second event. John Montecalvo was there with his car. Another local nice group like the Nobile family are. We will not give up the fight for a track. It's there, I've been on it at Calverton and its so close to ready.
If any track owner around this country got 130 cars for a lil weekend day of brackets I'd bet they'd be happy. It was beautiful seeing over crowded staging lanes. broke out first round myself.
Next race July 24. Please come and help support our growing hungry movement.

Congrats to Vincent Nobile and his family. Bring the trophys home to Long Island.
