This car is Joe Bambace's, out of Brooklyn.
It was of course, a 1964 Race Hemi, an aluminum nosed car.
This photo is from 1965, he is running in A/MP at
Dover Drag Strip, Wingdale, NY.
It ran 11.20's @ 128 MPH...
This day, he was match racing versus Ben Cardillo, in the 1964 Dodge Race Hemi,
the ex-Al Eckstrand/Lawman red and white Dodge.
Later Joe converted it to a 1965 AWB, by putting on a
65' fiberglass-nose, and Hilborn Injectors.
Note: Joe had to pay the dealership an extra $112, to get the car in this
factory-painted color.
