Have a couple of questions regarding my LT1 stock eliminator motor we are trying to finish. Any help is appreciated. The motor has Sherman lifters and stamped rockers.

1. Does a Small block require oil restrictor plugs in the back like a Big block does?

2. Which way should the oil hole on the side of the lifter face? (Inwards towards the cam or outwards towards the exhaust port)
