Default Re: Best Front Coil spring for fox body Mustang?

Mark is right, the 4-cylinder springs will work. They really drop the front-end down quite a bit with the 302, but don't work as well as aftermarket springs in that the nose will come up quickly off the line, then drop back down like a dead fish before you get past the tree. They really just don't have enough pressure to be nice and "springy" loose like you want unless you have a 4-cylinder car like Mark's but they are an option if you're on a tight budget.

For a good set of springs that will come up quickly then settle down to ride height gradually like they should with 90/10 struts, call Laurel Mtn Mustang and get their front drag springs. The springs are powder coated (yellow). Cut 3/4 of a coil off each one and you'll be good-to-go.

Been there done that.
