ESPN , to all of you who covered the race at Indy , you could have had a nice blend of sportsman coverage with the Pro classes , which was EXACTLY what I assumed you were going to do..................instead you proved once again that you assume the world revolves around fuel cars...........and for this , you suck...............yes , you really do.

Not to snap you back to reality, Joe, but why did you think there would be any sportsman coverage during the Full Throttle show? The "suits" at NHRA are paying ESPN to showcase the cars that the sponsors want the public to see, namely those loud and flashy fuel cars! So yes, as far as the people footing the bill are concerned, the world does revolve around Top Fuel and Funny Car. And as long as the sponsors are happy getting their logo's in front of John Q. Public, it's going to stay that way. If the corporate-types don't care that the program that they're paying for is preempted by high school baseball, do you really think that NHRA is going to care either? Have you ever seen a NASCAR show start late? They've moved NBA games to accommodate NASCAR!
Let's see what happens this Sunday with the Lucas Oil show, provided it's not programmed to follow high school lacrosse or bowling. If we get more than 30 seconds of Stock and Super/Stock coverage, I'll be thrilled!!
