I had a friend who was an diesel mechanic and own a Hugo, well after they closed all the dealerships in the west he bought a couple of diesel models and since he didn't care who saw him driving it because it was the ugliest thing he ever owned he started tuning them for incredible fuel mileage, he never bought fuel ever again since his brother was making bio-fuel(which I have been using in my Bus Motorhome since 2005). Since he worked in a Caterpillar garage and the car gets hit by the occasional hit by swinging blades in the yard, he finds that after 400.000 km he's quite happy with his ugly duckling.
