I agree !

Tech has 2 sets of specs (as far as I know)
One set for the engine/trans combo claimed and one set for the body claimed by the racer.

If NHRA Stock was allowed to mix combos like SS/GT is now, I believe it would sure add more racers and more exciting combos.

IHRA right now is halfway there with Stock GT.
I would love to see them lift the cutoff year on the engine from 1979 to 2012 and allow 1955 to 2012 elligible bodies with any allowed elligible engine/trans combos... (within the corporate brands of course)
