Default Re: Happy Veterans Day

My late father was captured during WW2 and luckily escaped while being moved to a prisoner camp.
Many that went never made it back.
While talking to some Peral Harbor survivors recently, I was told of how some lived with some guilt, having survived while their mates died.
We were told that one who died earlier this year requested to be buried with his mates.
His wish will be granted, an urn will be passed through a crack in the sunken Arizona this coming December in a ceremony held on the day of the attack of Pearl harbor.
Ed is right in saying there are fewer veterans as time goes by and all the more important we thank all those still with us and help those that are in need.
