Actually Charlie we have been to several non NHRA races at Bakersfield and I can say that they are really not that bad !! We run at these races by choice because they treat us very well and also Bakersfield does a exellent job on the track... Even better than a Divisional race there you know why ? They dont maintain the strarting line during a Division race thats up too NHRA. The Nastalgic events have a basic bracket class thats called Hot Rod and they get no less than 30 cars and actually have some good racers that have some real nice cars that dont run Open wheel or M&H slicks lol... they hold at least 7 events a year just at Bakersfield alone.
