An IHRA crate motor can use any duration, they only check the lift. Not sure why, but the IHRA tech sheet wanted the duration. They probably use the same form for pure stock specs. Did you use any kind of modeling software for your header design? I used the recomendations from Pipemax and came up with:

1- 5/8" tube for 8 inches
1- 3/4" tube for 8 inches
1- 7/8" tube for 16 inches
3- 1/2" collector
