But this one doesn't have fresh air and it went the fastest. I assume its LS1 cuz its claimed as 2000 on the sheet.

Also, if you check The Dragster Issue #38 pg 97, there is a picture of both of the cars in the SportsNats class winner pictures next to each other. One with a flat, one with ram air....

They will probably say the ram air hood was blocked,therefore negating any performance gain.
I have a ram air hood myself and forgot to remove my towel in there once years ago.Definately slowed me down!
