This is what Mike Crutchfield sent out as part of the SRAC update....
".....The Stocker Rocker arm rule is still one of the hot topics and what will be legal and how are they going to check for stock ratio. It is still not very clear yet but it appears that you can replace the stock unit with a aftermarket unit that attaches the same as the stock one. In other words if it is on a stud you can put a aftermarket back on the stud. No head machining for other configuration shafts or whatever. As far as checking in appears they might check at the push rod and again at the valve. One official said he will only check at the valve but that is not the rule so be prepared to check both...."
Hope those who lobbied for this change are happy....reminds me of the old adage "be careful what you hope for, you might get it". IMHO they should have left as is, spent a lot of money getting to a stock rocker arm configuration that would work well and I'm sticking with it.
