Default Re: stock and SS camaros

A couple of questions and a comment or two-

Who has the Amy Faulk '67 car now?

Does anyone have pics of Tracy Robbin's candy apple red '67 raced back in the '80s and '90s? That was a great looking ride.

The yellow Dick Henry car had a sponsor I was very familiar with back in the day- Alan's High Performance in Jacksonville, NC...circa 1984 I went to Alan Robinson's shop about once a month to buy vega torque converters for my sbc 400 Chevelle street car... broke those things left and right, couldn't afford good stuff....about 10 years ago a picture of Alan's first generation graveyard was published in a hot rod magazine, close to 2 dozen 1967-69 camaros left to rot from the mid 1970s....Alan set the record in a modified class in 1974 at Rockingham with a '67 convertible camaro that sat under a shelter for 30 years.

Ronnie Yopp was a fixture at Highway 258 dragstrip (now Coastal Plains Dragway) ....He was running 5.50's in 1986 with his tube chassis '68 camaro, bad fast for the times....
