I had been planning to be at Immokolee for more than two months now, but as the weekend got closer I had to come to the realization that the damage to my motor wasn't going to be able to be fixed in time to make the trip!
So it was either fix the car and be able to race starting in March, or take the ride to Florida as planned and maybe not race at all this summer. I decided that the racing was more important, and hope that my friends and family who I wouldn't be seeing would understand.
