I speak with Chase Knight weekly and he informs me that we will all be hearing much more noise from them very soon.
Isky too is actively invloved in S/SS only very quieltly for some reason.
Erson was bought out by PBM which is a parts distribution chain that focuses primarily on roundy round shops and production engine rebuilding shops.
They cut the line WAY back and is very small block chebbie heavy.
The good news about Erson is that they are still the best kept secret for Nex Tek valve springs.
That is the only reason we remain a WD for them.
Substatial savings over Manley for the same spring.

Chase Knight, I would buy from him regardless what camshaft company he was at. Crane is involved, I know of one fast SS car that has a grind several people worked on. Crane has two profile/lobe families like HXL Comp's
The HXL is close to this lobe, here are some general specs.
Crane
308 @.020"
278 @.050"
200 @.200"
Comp HXL
307 @.020"
278 @.050"
201 @.200"
I have had the Comp to 8200rpm, no issues. I have had the same Crane 8500rpm with no issues. IMO you can not go wrong with Crane Cams or Comp Cams.
I also know people who fly using UltraDyne lobes, from Bullet.
