Sorry to hear about your crash John.

But at 1990 Dallas Nats, I beat Hokie Holcomb to get the bye to the finals. I had a rear tire going down as I was going down track, when I let off at the lights the car went left and I barrel rolled on the wall. I was knocked out with a concusion but came thru after they cut my cage off. At the hospital , I was told that they Gibbs and Lynwood threw me out for excessive braking. (That's a joke because the brakes in that car had to be pumped up five times just to get a pedal ) so I was happy to see them reinstate Hokie so he could at least get runner up money. By the way , Edmond won his first National beating Hokie.

Didn't mean to ramble on your thread John, but it brought back memories.
