You are correct, but I for one do not have access to that equipment. I do feel it is worth it, I am sure there are few things I do that I feel are worth it and could be proven otherwise if there were a controlled way of testing it.
I would say that more things that I do are worth it than not. That being said, our policy is that you find we always do exactly the right thing after all other options have been explored.
