A good number of years ago a couple of brothers here ran a super gas car actually if my memory serves me correctly it was called Pro Gas at that time on Bandags. One of the brothers worked at a Bandag shop and would take his slicks and vulcanize the rubber bandage used to glue the tread on highway tractor tires onto his slicks. They had very good success with this process back in the day. I very reluctantly admit that I even ran a pair of these tires on my bracket car at the time. Wow! The stuff we tried and got away with.
