That photo is of a '69 383 Road Runner as seen in the link below, (VIN # RM21H9G134090)...and I'm not disputing that the Chrysler engineers or designers didn't start making the Air-Grabber hood 6 months or a year in advance as with most new parts or options for the next model year...also there are lots of stuff in the parts books that didn't make it into production or were revised during the year...unless you have seen a Chrysler bulletin stating something different.
