It appears that it is a state funded school, therefore it is wide open. With the statement that he was expelled for the safety of the students, they have opened the door for any claim in which any crime is committed by a student, that has any kind of violent record. In my opinion, if they have any student that has been convicted or plead guilty for even simple battery, they now will be sued. Under the premise that they should have known and now the policy is to expel students "for the safety of other students"........you can see the lawyers lining up now. You and I know that their has to be convicted felons in a system that large. They better hurry up and expel them. Jim, you are right. This was a knee jerk response that cowed down to black pressure.
