Can't say that the thought hadn't crossed my mind. Options are good, but the extra expenses are not.
Nobody has told me one way or the other, but I'd like to think that I was an influence in Amsoil considering their involvement in IHRA and joining earlier this year. A regional distributor has been a sponsor since 1999, when I started in IHRA Stock, and I have kept the corporate office updated as well. It seems like NHRA is so greedy or desperate that they can't see that racers can introduce companies who help them to the sport of drag racing! That has the potential of benefitting everyone. Amsoil has been involved in a variety of different motorsports on the corporate level, but not drag racing until now.
