The computer is just doing the math based on the "-.500", which would have Bellardo still red-lighting first. Rodgers' red light had to be worse than a full bulb, and it just didn't have a way to display it. If he didn't leave before the tree was activated (LB3A), then he rolled the beam between Bellardo's 1st and 3rd amber... well before his own tree started down.
