[Larry Hill]

Well we drove half way home last night on adrenaline! Stopped about 2 am and now we are about ready to get back on the road. About another 6 hours or so and we should be home.

Since I did not get to post during the week at the race, I will try to backtrack and let you know a little of the happenings.

First of all, congrats to Steven Dzorny for his graduation from high school. His Mom, Jennifer McCormack had a party for him at the track on Friday night. Great cake made by Ginny Running! Steven is the only other person to have won a national event in a pickup truck besides Larry. He won the Columbus Jegs Sportsnationals last year in his grandmother Judy's truck. He is a good kid who makes good grades and has been offerred some great scholarships! So "Good job, Steven"!

Another big item was the heat! It was really miserable sitting outside. I did not sit in the stands except for when Stock was running. I did watch some super stock from the shade of the golf cart, but then quickly ran back to the motorhome to the air conditioning!

We really didn't hear much gossip or rumors this week since it was too hot to get out and visit much!

Larry took some pics of the first round of super stock that I am going to post today as we go down the road. So more a little later!
