Slick therber passed away july 9th 2012.he was 87.he was the florida state champ in c/stock from 1955-57.long time friend of big daddy don garlits and father of racers mike,billy,kenny and paul therber,all known for their auto body and custom paint abilitys.
I can tell you if you were ever at or near silver dollar dragway in ga. And needed a place to park your rig slick would be waiting at the end of his long driveway waiting to guide you in and you usually got a great meal from his wife if you had time to stay awhile
