Re: "Live" From The Columbus Points Race
It's so nice that my wife has a jacket on in the shade. (That's not to say she's not nuts!) Actually is nice with the breeze.
Got to the track late ddue to a very slow and not exactly competent McDonald's this morning. They were running Super Stock before we even pulled into the track. Pulled in, hopped in the car and drove it straight to the lanes. (and there were STILL several cars that came in behind me! These guys are really not in a hurry to race, or maybe just not used to being first out). An official came through the lanes offering various special programs decals to any who didn't have them, and Hullinger came through to greet people. I mentioned that I've had some of my best 60's since backhalfing the car here, and he confirmed we're on VHT. Place is working great.
Cooler, less humid, and better barometer this morning. A good bit of shuffling on the ladder. I made some changes and was fortunate to land on the opposite side of the ladder from Volkman.

Really enjoyed talking with Larry Hill yesterday. I think half the pits came by at some time or another to congratulate him on Norwalk and say Hi.
Spectator lot is filling up too. Should be a fair crowd.
