Yes, and yes, in SS/GT. Be careful when selecting an engine for GT, though. GT/A-GT/AA are 8.00-8.49 pound classes (same as SS/E-SS/EA). So, a 500 hp motor would weigh 4,170 pounds in GT/AA.
