A .070 over 318 is about 323 ci and the 2 brl carb flows about 300 cfm, not a good choice IMO. The 383 is the best choice, the BB head is far superior and much easier to achieve the flow needed to be competitive , much of the money spent is on parts and labor needed to make the engine live at high RPM.
