Re: "Live" from Bowling Green, KY Div. 3 LODRS
Sorry I haven't been posting today, but internet has come and gone and I haven't had the patience to wait it out! DA has been around 2500' by our guages. Larry lost first round to Witherspoon and he really should have won. Larry had the better light and started rubbing the brakes and let Spoon have the finish line by .006. Larry beat him at Chicago and Bruce should have won that one, so I guess this was pay back. In stock this afternoon there were quite a few breakouts. Evidently the air wasn't as bad as it seemed. By the time super stock ran, the sun was way down and in the eyes of the ones that ran early, then getting dark by the time they finished up. There were lots of red lights.
Thanks to Lucas Oil and the Forbes family for the very nice bar b que tonight. I took lots of pictures that I will post later.
The only good thing about getting beat early is that we will be on the road to Indy a little earlier tomorrow. Redman said they would not be stacking until Sunday at noon, but rumor has it that there are about 40 rigs already sitting on the road. We won't get there til after noon, so we should be ok getting in and stacked.
More later.
