My AMX buddy Adkins has the 9.09 and he ran the same 1st & 2nd session while everybody else slowed on the 2nd session. 2nd place is still runner up but that looks like the race to watch. Track & clutch could make or break any of those guys. But my hat's off to Paquet; he sure has an advantage going into class runoffs!
Edit: I just noticed Mike Carr's post that the 9.04 was "only" 133 MPH. Ayeya....
And how about the #1 "traditional" SS car being Garett Ghezzi with his SS/MA AMX! Yea, I know, he's only #8 but the rest of the cars from 1-7 are built in this century...
Jimmy Bridges went 9.06 last weekend in Bowling Green. I'm thinking he's got more up his sleeve, for today.
