Monday Racing Delayed By Larry Sullivan

BROWNSBURG, Ind. - 8:30 a.m. - Today's overloaded schedule is not getting off to a good start.
The track crew has been busily working to dry the track and Super Stock was called to the lanes.

Track drying is not going as quickly as expected - it's very humid and we got a lot of rain yesterday, over an inch at least.

Thus the second problem, the Sportsman pit areas are very soggy - a lot of the Super Stock racers could not get out of their pits to go to the staging lanes.

Those Super Stock racers that did get to the lanes were sent back to their pits and race officials are working on an alternative schedule.

As soon as that schedule firms up, we'll let you know. Right now, the first thing down the track today will be Top Fuel.
