Any other votes for Arlen Vanke?

As an Akron guy, He is the only one I knew back then, and he was good enough that you never had to look for better

He did work on my cars from the 60's to the 90's and they all ran far better when he got done with them. Most of mine werent for the sactioned events. Some were street racers, and later, some were grudge match racers at the local track *Dragway 42. I always had the ability, learned from me by my Son Chris, to get people all riled up, and then when I beat them with a smile, they were always still convinced that I only got lucky, and they could get me the next time. Chris could also get folks hot and bothered, and then let them down, and laugh with them

But Vanke's "Unbeatable Mopars" left a mark on a lot tracks in the 60's.
