Get a transmission temperature guage. I find that when the trans goes over 150, it's worth .015 to .02 in the 1/8th mile (so, obviously more in the 1/4) and how much change you see may depend on the type of fluid.

If you're running a thick oil, you may see more of a change as well in hot lap conditions.
