If you get caught with an incorrect sized valve and the NHRA gives you a HP increase, doesn't that validate the use of that sized valve? Then why shouldn't other guys with the same combo be able to run a small valve? You are penalizing the guys who are legit.
They should have taken away any points, $$, and a slap on the knuckles. If you do it again, you get a year off for bad behavior.
If it was an error on the engine builders part, the NHRA should let it be known they won't tolerate the situation to keep others from trying the same thing.
