Dont get caught up in all the big hipe of needing to go fast!
I race a s/g small block car that runs 140 on a good day and I win my share of rounds. If you are a good bracket racer you will do fine at the stripe. Building a motor that can run 160 will cost you 20 grand plus! And then figuring out how to manage all that power could be tough. Its all about cutting a light and running the number.
