The scheduling conflict with the PRI Show made this difficult for me, because the original timeline for the Combo on Saturday showed NO time-trials, just first round at 0900. I had decided to do the show on Thursday and the race on Friday and Saturday, which was easier for me at the time. Not really sure why the 'wagon didn't run better, but I'll figure that out next year. Changed a few things for this race and they didn't work! I hadn't been to Gainesville in 22 years, so I was looking forward to actually racing here. The event staff seemed to spend a great deal of time prepping the track, and I know most of the high-horsepower cars had traction issues, but it wasn't because the crew didn't make an effort.

I had a great time! The 1400 mile round-trip will finish on Tuesday (I hope!), and other than some aggravating issues with the Suburban, it's been uneventful. I must be a glutton for punishment, but I'm looking forward to doing this again in the not-too-distant future.

Lew, Didn't see you had called until yesterday! Sorry! I left PRI at 3:30 on Thursday. Was there early and had enough fun for one day. Sorry you couldn't make the dinner Friday night. We had right at 30 people this year. Jim
