I can't help but read all of this bantering about the decks being stacked against us "old race car" racers and instead of the verbiage "unfairly low HP ratings", insert "allowing professional / full-time racers to race against us, the true sportsmen"
It was OK to stack that deck with your heroes. If that was the case (and a hugh majority seemed to think it as acceptable), then stacking the deck with low HP engines shouldn't be an issue.
In both instances, NHRA has allowed one side an unfair advantage and as a result, you are loosing money.
